Interactive Pulp is a one-person development studio from David Brackeen in Downtown Los Angeles, with a focus on puzzle games for iOS.
I grew up with clever brain-teasers and fun puzzle toys laying around the house, tokens of one of my father’s giddy pastimes. As I got older, video games became a part of my life, from the Atari 2600 to the NES. I got my career started in the late 90’s making conventional web games, including a first-person shooter and a few racing games. Now, I’m putting those two passions together, making unique puzzle games for the iPhone and iPad.
I’m always looking for interesting, creative projects to work on. I enjoy working as a contractor for people who are enthusiastic about what they want me to build for them, or as a collaborator with experienced, talented people. My primary skill is programming in Java and Objective C (UI, OpenGL, scene-graphs, computer science algorithms), and my secondary skills are everything else game-related: game design, art, and sound. Contact me if you’d like to work together!
